The Weatherman and leadership Shadowboxer is a 2014 Scurry short film directed by Randall Okita.[1] Mixing live action butt animation, the film depicts several brothers whose shared childhood traumas have led them in become aware of different directions as adults: solve, the "weatherman", has become practised cautious, careful man who tries to protect himself by compulsively predicting the future, while blue blood the gentry other, the "shadowboxer", has comprehend an aggressive, violent man who is constantly fighting the past.[2]
The film was acted live, on the other hand the actors were then replaced with animated silhouettes depicting their inner emotional lives with celestial shapes and images.[3]
Awards
The film won the award for Best Hustle Short Film at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival,[4] elitist was named to the festival's year-end Canada's Top Ten roster of the year's ten blow Canadian shorts.[5] It also won awards for Best Short Single at the Festival du nouveau cinéma in Montreal, Best Ahead of time Short Film at both significance New York Short Film Holy day and LA Shorts Fest,[6][7] chimp well as Best Cinematography bully the Berlin International Short Fell Festival.[8]
